Training sessions for the Kokoda Challenge

“It’s important to remember that even though the Kokoda Challenge is on trails, it’s nice to be able to do some road work just for fitness whether you’re walking at a good pace, jogging or running. It’s nice to get out on the road because it’s easy to settle into a comfortable pace on the trails and the road does take you out of your comfort zone.”  Scott Whimpey from First Aid Accident & Emergency is training hard for this year’s Kokoda Challenge, here he discusses training sessions and how road work is also important for this 96km Gold Coast trail event.
