Required Workplace First Aid Course in Australia:

Workplaces across Australia have a minimum standard to have trained staff to offer first aid, the recommended first aid courses are nationally recognised and are delivered by Registered Training Organisations, First Aid Accident & Emergency are a RTO and deliver accredited courses for workplaces. The required courses are as follows.

• Provide First Aid HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid is the current workplace First Aid qualification and provides participants with the knowledge to administer First Aid care and treatment in the workplace or in personal situations. Provide First Aid covers adults, children and babies in a wide range of emergency situations. Our courses are FUN, energetic and delivered in a comfortable and welcoming environment. This course is delivered Face to Face in 7 Hours, pre reading of the FAAE Student learning guide is also recommended.
• Provide CPR HLTAID009 –  Our Provide CPR course is the 1 year refresher and offers a FUN and hands-on approach to CPR training. This course is completed Face to Face in 2.5 hours and provides participants with an understanding of the fundamental principles and practical knowledge that can be applied to save and preserve a life in accordance with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
• Provide Advanced Resuscitation HLTAID015 – First Aid Accident & Emergency offers Advanced Resuscitation training on the Gold Coast. This comprehensive Oxygen and Defibrillation course is combined with CPR to give patients the best chance of resuscitation.
• Low Voltage Rescue and Provide CPR UETTDRF06 – Our Low Voltage Rescue & CPR Course incorporates working through a risk assessment, implementing control measures and conducting a hands on rescue of a worker from a live LV panel.

Scott is a Gold Coast local, attended Miami State High School and has been involved with surf clubs and first aid since 1986. He is a qualified medic and is actively involved in local community organisations, working with a range of businesses to develop their response to a critical incident.  These organisations including Parkrun Australia, The Kokoda Challenge, CONDEV Cares and most recently Currumbin Special School, where he donated training and a Defibrillator to the school.

Scott is a highly motivating individual and has developed his team to be exceptional in the skill set of emergency training.  He has a proven ability to inspire others to become exceptional at teaching the skills of saving a life.
