First Aid accident & Emergency in conjunction with the Gold Coast City Council Active and Healthy program have put together an interactive Baby First Course once a month on the Gold Coast at Varsity Lakes.
Our Baby First Aid Course is a workshop aimed at teaching new parents or anyone looking after babies, the latest baby first aid information and techniques.
As a new parent, we teach you how to be aware of your babies warning signs and how to manage injuries, all in a relaxed and comfortable environment. We have designed this workshop to be low cost and just 60 min so you can have your baby with you when you attend.

Baby First Aid Workshop Description
Objective of Baby First Aid Course:
This 1 hour Baby First Aid workshop is a must-do introduction to basic First Aid and CPR for babies. Mums, expecting Mums, Dads, Carers and anyone looking after infants are all welcome.
Course Content:
- Basic life support for babies
- Vital signs of your baby and infant
- Who to contact in a life threatening and non-life threatening situations
- CPR
- Drowning
- Choking
- Bleeding
- Anaphylaxis
- Head injuries
- Bites and Stings
- Temperatures, febrile convulsions

This workshop runs for 60 minutes.
