Course Entry Requirements
This course has a mandatory pre-requisite requirement of one of the following:
- an existing ESI or Electrotechnology qualification or equivalent
- UEECD0007 Apply work health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
- UETDREL006 Work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
Participants must provide evidence of the pre-requisite by email to [email protected] (pdf or jpeg) for verification prior to the training.
Participants must be 14 years or older. Participants under the age of 18 are required to provide a consent form completed by their legal guardian which can be accessed by clicking here.
There is a pre-requisite for this course to have a current CPR Qualification (HLTAID009), however this LVR course is clustered with CPR so this is all done on the day.
It is also recommended that participants have sufficient literacy, language and numeracy skills to successfully complete the course. Examples of these are: basic writing skills, ability to understand English and verbal communication, ability to count to 30, calculate basic ratios, use a timer and tell the time. Course Physical Requirement
There is a physical component to this course. Participants will be required to participate in role play activities, practical assessments, be able to perform 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on a manikin placed on the floor and have the ability to move a patient at least 3 metres (one man drag).
